Naydee and Christopher are having their first baby. Boy or Girl? It’s
a surprise! Naydee requested a neutral cake for her Shower. Her
husband is a “Chef” for world renowned Miami Children's Hospital with a flair for Barbecues. They decided on a Picnic Bash Baby Shower; simple and back to basics thematically speaking.
Naydee had a craving for a Vanilla cake
on top with raspberry filling. Hubby chose dark chocolate for the bottom.
The tippity top of the cake was covered in a sumptuous white chocolate ganache
under a lovely fondant. The bottom was covered in a dark chocolate ganache.
Simple? I think not!
In addition, they ordered “salted caramel minis. ” These babies have homemade caramel
inside and caramel butter cream with a touch of Kosher salt on top. Very
delicious... (my Jenny’s favorite!!!)
... And I need to mention the couple are my niece Ana’s friend, so they got a little special treatment (cariño.)
